Life Is About Choices

Are you happy with your current life? Or do you feel unfulfilled with your life?

If you are dissatisfied with the way things are, I hate to break it to you, but you created the life you have.

You are the sole person responsible for the life you have now.

Life is all about choices. You have made a series of choices to get to where you are now. But all is not lost. You also have the choice to recreate and change your life.

It’s easy to say you’re unhappy because your life isn’t picture perfect like you imagined, but what don’t you like about your life? What do you like about your life?

Take a serious look at your life and think about what you want to change. What do you want more of or less of?

You may be going through something right now that isn’t the most fulfilling, but what’s your reason for doing it? Is it something that you only have to do temporary?

Life is about choices, but it’s also about what you are willing to do with the choices you make and the goals you have for yourself. You can say that you want a change, but are you willing to change?

If you hate your job and want to change careers, are you willing to go back to school? Are you willing to start with an entry level position? Are you willing to take a pay cut?

If you want a relationship, are you willing to put yourself out there? Are you willing to go on dates, meet people online, ask your friends to set you up?

If you want to be healthier, are you willing to change how you eat or exercise?

There’s a story that I’ve been reminded of recently about a man that walked by a house where a couple sat outside with their dog several days in a row. Every time the man walked by he heard the dog moaning and groaning. Finally the man decided to ask the couple if the dog was ok and find out why he was always moaning and groaning. The woman responded that the dog was laying on a nail. The man asked why the dog didn’t just move. The woman responded that the nail only bothers the dog enough to moan and groan about it, but not enough to actually do anything about it.

So, have you been moaning and groaning about something? Are you willing to do something about it?

Are you willing to do whatever it takes?

Let me know what changes you’re ready to make and how I can help support you.

Be YOU. BeYOUtiful.
